- The versionFrom Help → About. It's also in the bottom right corner of the window.
- What you were doingIn the words you'd use to a coworker. Windows or Mac, and whether you work off an Office server.
- What you expected, and what happened insteadThe number you expected and the one it gave, or the message it showed. A screenshot helps, with anything confidential cropped out.
- The drawing, if you can share itUsually one sheet is enough, and it's fine to black out the title block. If you can't share it, say so and I'll work from screenshots.

How updates work
You don't have to come back here to stay current.
Windows and Mac. Updates install themselves. Each one is checked against my signing key before it installs, and it takes effect the next time the program opens, never in the middle of a takeoff. With an Office server, the server fetches each release once and offers it to every seat, and your office decides when seats update.
Sealed. Nothing is fetched. Updates arrive as signed files your administrator carries in, and each seat checks the signature before installing.
iPad and Android. When the tablet app is out, the App Store or Google Play updates it, like any other app on the tablet. Where the tablet app is.

Office server help
The things people ask about most, and where each one lives.
- Installing it: one machine that stays on, Windows only. Mac seats connect to it the same way. Download the server
- The trial: every feature for 30 days from the first start, any number of people. When it ends nothing is deleted
- Adding your license: Studio → Office → License → Add license file, on the server's machine
- More users or another year: Studio → Office → License → Renew or add users, or add them here
- Reaching the office from a jobsite: Studio → Office → Remote access, through your own Cloudflare tunnel
- Telling your ERP when markups change: change notices
